Who is Tony Alverio?

Welcome to my blog. I’m a full-time internet marketer. I coach people on how to do exactly what I’m doing. I live in Orlando, Florida, but I was born in Chicago, Illinois. At the age of 12, my family moved to Puerto Rico where I had to learn to read, write and speak Spanish.  Learning Spanish was a difficult thing at this young age, but I got through it. I lived in Puerto Rico for 31 years, so my Spanish writing, reading and speaking skills are now better than my English skills believe it or not.

My father has always been a businessman, who owned supermarkets, liquor stores and gas stations, where I always helped around. Growing up in this environment and being exposed to different business situations, I became very attracted to business management. The entire business processes and  solving the challenges it brings felt like second nature to me.

In my sophomore year in college, I began working for a Retail Sales Corporation. When I graduated, I was offered a Managers Trainee position. Although I endured 60-70 hours per week in a managers position for 7 years, hardly seeing or spending time with my wife and my first child, I was looking for a way out of the rules, bureaucracy and conformity of the corporate life.

In 1996, I purchased my first brick-and-mortar business and stopped trading my time for dollars.  Even though I was working long hours, I was my own boss. Since then, I have created various businesses in the investment, service and hospitality industry.

In 2007, I moved to Orlando, Florida with my beautiful wife Melba, my two sons, Brian and Omar and our dog Sophia. I created a business in the hospitality industry that started off great, but in 2008 it has been affected drastically. At the end of 2008, I started my online marketing business part-time to supplement the lost of my brick and mortar business.

In January 2009, I decided to pursue my internet marketing business full-time and reduced my hospitality business to part-time. I believe that because of the world’s financial situation, there hasn’t been a better moment in history to start and grow your home online business.

The beauty of the Internet is that it gives us an amazing tool to get that coveted leverage. We can put systems and automation in place to make more and more income as well as use that income to enjoy the finer things in life. Every single day, multiple people achieve this leverage with the power of the Internet, I’m just grateful that I had sense enough to become one of them.
