Twitter: Gain Fans, Make Friends, Enrich Your Business!

By Tony Alverio

In the world of ecommerce, we rely heavily on our friends and connections. This is because since everything is done online, we have to be in good ties with the people involved in the online business. We may not know them in person, but once we have their trust and confidence, our business can succeed.

Since there is a huge need to build up friendships and trust among the people connected in the internet, there’s this program designed to fulfill this necessity: Twitter. Twitter is a microblogging site that allows you to post anything and everything about yourself and your business in real time, and your friends and fans can make their comments about your posts right away.

Twitter is more than just a blog or a web page-it’s like your real time virtual social organizer, as you can discuss stuff with your friends (who should be Twitter users too) whenever and wherever you are. I personally recommend Twitter because I can easily share my day-to-day ramblings to the people connected to me, and educate them about my business without putting too much effort. I also enjoy Twitter because there are a lot of topics that we can discuss about, and a lot more people are joining each day (of course, that would mean more leads).

Twitter also helps a lot in the internet marketing business because you can find more people who have to potential to be your clients and customers. You may not know it but by merely posting comments and suggestions, you can build rapport with these people thus making them join your business. Now isn’t that great?

What’s more, Twitter is filled with not just people, but with interesting people. A lot of celebrities are using Twitter to increase their popularity over the net. Some even use Twitter to make announcements which they cannot do when they are on TV or in the radio. You can even make friends with them without doing too much effort. A few of those celebs you can find on Twitter include Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, Oprah Winfrey, CNN, and a lot more. Your favorite personalities can now easily be reached by just one click of the mouse. Who knows, if they get to know more about your site, they might get interested in be glad to endorse your products and services using their own Twitter accounts! Now that would bring you and your business into the stars in no time!

So, start Twitting now!
