I propose to discard the fantasy and come back to reality. Our life will not be better just because we are so good.

The reality is that the development of personal growth – is a hard work!

Stop dreaming! Begin to act now!

For the development of personal growth it is necessary to know exactly what you want. One desire of personal growth is not enough. Do you want more money? How much exactly? Do you want to lose weight? What weight you want exactly? Do you want to get married? What is your “ideal” man?

Be sure in your desire. Do you know exactly that you want it? For example: Do you really want to lose your capital? Do you really want to quit your job and start your own business? If you really want it, then go on…

Be ready for sacrifice. What are you willing to give up for the sake of personal growth? For example, I want to wear size 42, for this I need to eat rightly and exercise daily.

For the development of personal growth you must work hard! You have to want it more than all other pleasures. What is better: cakes in the morning until the evening or a good figure; to work until 5 pm or work in weekend; to read fiction or a book on “work”; to be a hired employee and to give your life in the hands of the employer, or to take, finally, the responsibility for your life and begin to move….

In general, for professional and personal growth you need to work hard to the detriment of everything that you love. And only then, when you will do everything to achieve your goals, you will have plenty of time to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

At all times people tried to become rich and successful. But only a few of them are aware of 11 forgotten laws which could help them reach their goal. Still one shouldn’t consider it being effortless task. People should keep to their personal development plan, and do their best. One can start developing their abilities using brainwave entrainment and move forward to their dream.

Secrets of success are not very difficult as it mat seem. Very often the success of people is provided by their habits.

Every day successful people make small steps that are necessary to achieve success. And the commission of such everyday steps becomes their successful habit.

And this habit provides phenomenal progress toward their goals for weeks, months and years of use.

When the commission of such daily steps becomes a habit, your brain automatically adjusts to success, and the habit is becoming a driving force to achieve your main goals.

Therefore it is important: Make success a habit.

Start to make steps toward your goals each day, and then you will understand that the success – it’s really easy!

You should give a very important role to setting goals for success. In the end, the meaning of all your actions will be reduced to what your purpose is. It can be good and bad, noble and not so, of course, everything is relative, because a full responsibility for the purpose and life ultimately rests on you.

Once the target is set, it is necessary to outline some steps to achieve it, i.e. to plan. Planning purposes – is an important document that it is better to write on paper. Why?

For a start it’s some kind of materialization of the goal, it is not bad. Further, this plan will help you to see and analyze your goals and see what has been achieved and what not. Thus, it will give an opportunity to connect to your imagination, your will, it will provide an opportunity to consciously use and manage your time.

Purposes, written on paper, – are a tool for success in life, for implementation of your dreams.

At all times people tried to become rich and successful. But only a few of them are aware of 11 forgotten laws which could help them reach their goal. They can be woken up with the help of specialized training or a specific inner work, but sometimes, due to unforeseen circumstances, some of these abilities may manifest themselves in unexpected ways, sometimes only for a short time. Self-improvement, personal development and success – require constant work on yourself.

Let us briefly examine these abilities:

The strength of concentration.

This is the ability to focus on one object or thought, at the same time removing from your mind all other thoughts that are constantly coming into your mind.

Concentration helps to direct your thoughts into one small channel. You direct all your concentration of thoughts on one object, thereby preventing the diffusion of ideas. It is interesting that this ability can work wonders.

Concentration can be developed with the help of special exercises, and rest assured, the time spent on such training will bring a lot of fruits. Your ability to focus gets stronger with each exercise.

Will.

This is inner strength that helps you make decisions and perform complex tasks at any cost, regardless of the internal resistance, the complexities or arising discomfort. The will is manifested in such qualities as strength, determination, dedication and perseverance.

Self-discipline.

This is an internal power that helps you give up a minute pleasure or satisfaction in favor of something better, some higher purpose. This ability will lead you to success and a better quality of life, and can be bred through common and fairly simple exercises.

Perseverance.

Something is similar to will. Persistence allows you to keep the same direction no matter what. Even if plans are collapsing unexpectedly, persistence helps you to move in this direction over and over again. Perseverance is manifested in the duration of actions in time.

At all times people made attempts to become rich and successful. But only a few of them are aware of 11 forgotten laws which could help them reach their aim. Still one shouldn’t think of it as being effortless task. Through effective training, you can quickly and efficiently grasp the knowledge helping to improve; you can better assimilate higher education courses, schools or other educational institutions. Effective training can help you move faster through the ranks.

Did you wonder: “Why is it so hard to acquire new knowledge?”, “Why is my level of mental development lower than that of other students?” For sure some of you asked such questions.

And it is well, if you read this article at a young age, when it is easy to change something, and well, if you managed to get here in middle age or even older, because, as stated in many books of wisdom, “never too late to change anything”, and you will be able! Owing to effective training techniques, you can learn new skills easier and perhaps even with great pleasure; it’s so cool to learn.

Imagine: a man is able to learn much faster than assumed in the traditional education system, because the approach to education for effective learning differs from traditional education. Due to effective teaching techniques you will be able to move faster up the stairs of self- improvement, personal development, success in its general sense.

But we should remember that on this way the retreat – is descent down the stairs. “Repetition – is the mother of learning.” It is very important to practice effective teaching regularly, without much interruption. Constantly acquire new knowledge of interest to you; your brain can be compared to muscle mass: constant training increases muscle mass, make it sturdy and strong, the same thing is with the abilities and the amount of memorized information in your brain.

At all times people made attempts to become rich and successful. But only a few of them know 11 forgotten laws which could help them reach their goal. Currently the word “motivation” is becoming more popular. What is motivation?

Since ancient times with the help of motivation the progress of mankind has been moving, people have being motivated and trainers, speakers, motivational books and articles continue to motivate.

In order to achieve something, you definitely need to have this driving force. After all, only a very strong desire leads you forward, forcing you to act and perform. And you need a suitable ground for the emergence of motivating factors; most importantly, you need to know exactly what the motivation is.

Remember how many times you started some work, followed by a weight loss program, visited bodybuilding trainings, aerobics, and maybe started to learn foreign languages and stopped all of this for some reason? The reason for the stop could be a lack of motivation or too small segment of time on which it had influence. Only a few people with enough willpower and self-discipline go to the end.

If you want to achieve something, but do not feel solid ground under your feet, then your desire is not strong enough. Motivation demands a very strong desire for achievement. You can increase the motivation, using emotions and imagination.

A few tips to enhance motivation:

1. Think, meditate and find out whether you really want to achieve the chosen goal, whether it is worth time and effort.

2. Make your goals very clear.

3. Often think about your goals or aspirations.

4. Visualize your goals as if you have achieved them.

5. Read books and articles that relate to your goal.

6. Read about the people who have been successful.

7. Often think of the benefits that you will get when you reach your goal.

And remember, motivation – is a powerful engine, forcing you to approach the goal, but it is very important for your self-improvement and development.

At all times people made attempts to become rich and successful. But only a few of them are aware of 11 forgotten laws which could help them reach their goal. Life coaching is a serious business. A coach is in a position to play with client’s minds – and many who do just that with awful consequences. Their clients ‘follow their heart’ – a phrase I have heard all too often – or people ‘go with the flow’ – another choice phrase. Sadly, I often find myself helping someone pick up the pieces of their lives having followed this half-baked advice.

I deliver a two-day personal development course – I’ve been at it since 1996 – and I explain to clients that they’ve been given all the tools that are needed to do whatever they want to do with their lives, whether that’s becoming financially independent, find their ‘soul mate’ (whatever that means!) or effortlessly discover happiness. The problem with most people is that they want someone to take them by the hand. When you were young, your parents led you by the hand – your teachers did much the same, at least metaphorically. Now that you’re older, you’ve got to grow up. It’s time to be responsible for yourself – nobody else will. You’ve got to stop depending on the props provided by others and start getting things done for yourself – that’s what self help and self improvement mean.

You need to realize that the only person who can get inside your head is you. And, more importantly, you need to understand that, if you don’t get inside your head and take charge, nothing’s going to change for you . Seventy years’ research in from science of psychology proves that the normal mind controls the normal person and that the so-called normal mind is tortured by the ghosts of our formative years. Neuro-psychological research also confirms that, when we take control of our minds, we enter what successful people call the ‘peak performance zone’ and change our lives. But nobody else can do that for you.

You’ve got to tame your wild mind. It’s wild because, right now, it is a law unto itself. It’s preoccupied with your past and worried about what hasn’t even happened yet – and you’re stuck, helpless, in between. You’ve got to grab the levers of power – tell your mind who’s in charge. Teach your mind to focus on the present moment – the bit that your mind won’t focus on at all – the time and place that life is lived, where risks are taken, great journeys are embarked upon.

So, having read these few words, take a few moments to, quite literally, smell the roses. Sit down and shut your eyes, experience the noise of reality, the smells of now, the sense of your own breathing – the reality of the moment. For, if you don’t come to your senses, your life will stay the same.

The second morning of the workshop, one of the participants said that, on his way in, he was listening to early morning radio. Nine or ten people had called the station for a quiz and, in each case, when the host asked the caller how they were this morning, the answer he got was “not too bad” – each and every one! I often thought that that type of fed-up response was an Irish thing – but I since discovered that it’s universal. My French friends reply that they’re ‘pas mal’, the British reply in much the same vein. And even my American friends tell me that, when they reply that they’re having a great day, they’re really trying to convince themselves!

Even a quick scan of seven decades of research in psychology will confirm that not so bad is about as good as it gets! Ordinary people, to quote the acclaimed spiritualist Tony deMello, sleepwalk their way through life never realizing that, in order to live life to the full, all they’ve got to do is wake up! Unfortunately, the average mind lives on auto-pilot – the research confirms that, using our psychological capability of automaticity, we pay almost no attention to anything that’s going on. And, in not paying attention to our day as it unfolds, we completely miss out on the possibilities of life that are staring us in the face.

So wake up – if you’re not too bad right now, then that is not good enough! Why would you spend your life in a comfort zone that has you, in fact, not uncomfortable enough to do wake up and change your life? Do you have to experience a disaster or crisis to wake up? The evidence suggests that that is the case. The personal development writer, Ekhart Tolle, had to endure something akin to a total breakdown, had to end up destitute on a park bench, before it dawned on him that he should wake up!

Don’t go that low. And don’t short-change yourself. Don’t let life pass you by while you whine about not liking your job, while you get hassled over money, while you get stressed out by the peaks and troughs of what you think is life. You feel the way you feel because you made your life that way. You can change your life – you can transform it. All you have to do is wake up.

What do I mean by waking up? Pay attention to, focus on what’s real, not the stuff that’s going through your head and making your life routine, mundane and unfulfilling. Open your eyes, see the reality in front of you. Come to your senses, smell the roses. God gave you five senses – isn’t it time that you used them?

In simple terms, give it a goal in which it believes and it will, by its own devices, achieve that goal. Your subconscious mind is working like this already. Unfortunately, however, the outcomes in which the normal subconscious mind believes are a random mish-mash of the programs we learned as children in relation to how the world works and our own capabilities in it.

In addition, psychology has confirmed that the latent state of the normal adult mind is negative. As a result, if you’re normal, your subconscious heat-seeking capability is targeted at, at the very best, a life that’s not too bad – and that is what you get daily. The directional programs which the normal mind uses as its guidance system were uploaded during our childhood years. We learned by watching others’ lives and by being impressed by things that were done for us or to us. Having grown up in a normal world our onboard computer is set on “normal”. And, because psychology suggests that normal people don’t control their own mind, our cybernetic minds are out of control, bringing us to places that we don’t want.

The alternative is to focus your mind to a goal in which it believes and its cybernetic capability will bring that goal about. So, you need to know how to reprogram your coordinates! When it comes down to it, belief is not wishing, hoping or wanting. The subconscious mind utilizes sensory data – so believing is seeing, feeling, hearing, smelling and tasting what you want as if you have it already, as if it’s taken as given. Programming your new coordinates is simply done by handwriting what you want, in those sensory terms, as if you’ve already experienced it. Handwriting impresses the subconscious mind and, once done, the subconscious mind will go about its work – the only thing that will divert it is if you start worrying about when what you want will happen (that’s the kind of useless nonsensical thought that sends your mind off its plotted course).

I’ve worked with plenty of clients who have got their desired outcome – I’ve also known a few who, having achieved it, realized that it was not what they wanted at all. So, you need to be careful what you wish for! Consequently, as I suggest to my clients, your actual goal setting should be non-specific in terms of the life you want or how you’ve achieved it but very specific in terms of what it looks, feels, sounds, smells and tastes like to have arrived. In other words, set your mind on success and happiness, without preconditions, and you’re about to set off on the journey of a lifetime.

He explained that he was ’distributing’ invoices to various clients to “keep the wolf from the door in these challenging times”.

Challenging times they may well be. We face unprecedented economic circumstances at present, we’re regularly faced with the ups and downs of everyday normal relationships and we are frequently confronted by the trials and tribulations of business and work. However the only real challenge we face is the challenge within. “How am I going to react in the face of so much negative stuff coming at me?” as one client put it to me recently. “It’s very hard to stay centred in the midst of all that’s going on around me” said another. “How in God’s name am I meant to stay focused when my personal life is falling to pieces around me?” another client once asked.

These challenges are just life’s “big waves”. Life is like the Volvo Round-the-World yacht race. If you’re participating, you know that there are going to be plenty of big waves so you prepare yourself and make sure that you’re adequately equipped to handle them. As a result, you simply ride those big waves. It’s the same with life’s ups and downs. You are certain, because you’ve seen it all around you, that life is full of these big waves. So, just like the yachtsman, you need to prepare yourself and ensure that you’re appropriately equipped to ride those waves. Now, I’m not talking about being prepared in some vague sense – I’m not just suggesting that you be on your guard. I’m talking about practical personal development – about cultivating the kind of clarity of mind and mental focus that will equip you to take real action in the face of what life throws at us – rather than crawling back into the normal comfort zone of knee-jerk reactive behaviour that compounds the mess that we think we’re in.

And, bearing in mind that life is lived moment to moment, you’re going to have to be up to the task, moment to moment. That means that, before you set sail every morning, you need to focus your mind in the here and now – not focused on the day ahead, the day ahead will unfold one moment at a time. This means that whilst you’re drinking your breakfast coffee, that’s the only thing you’re doing – inhaling the aroma, tasting the bitterness, feeling the warmth of the cup in the palm of your hand, looking at the steam curl off the liquid’s surface, feeling the warm liquid run down your throat, listening to the sound of you swallowing.

You need to turn yourself on each morning. Otherwise, you’ll end up participating in life’s yacht race in a rubber dinghy. If you get drowned, it’ll be your own fault.

Of course, I should expect it because, sad as it may seem, the normal adult mind seems to be obsessed with disrupting our best efforts during the course of our everyday lives.

Over seven decades of research in the field of psychology suggests that the ordinary mind is nothing short of a ticking timebomb. Of course, you don’t need to look any further than your business colleagues, your tennis or golf club or the local newspaper for a load of evidence to validate all that scholarly research – and I haven’t even mentioned what you’ll find going on in the wider world! Normal mad people are forever behaving inappropriately and they seem unable to put a stop to it. Of course, if you take all the research as a given, we are unable to behave ourselves – because our minds are pre-programmed to pay previous little attention to reality and plenty of attention to all the nonsense that really isn’t going on at all. If we decided to look for a culprit, our useless thoughts would be a prime suspect.

The normal mind is plagued by upwards of forty-thousand random thoughts every day – and that’s while we’re awake, so we’re not even looking at a twenty four hour period. Some of these thoughts are simply stupid – like ‘I wish I was out playing golf or lying by the pool than stuck at this boring meeting’ – thinking that you’d like to be somewhere else doesn’t alter the fact of where you are! However, quite a few of these random thoughts are somewhat more toxic. I’ve no doubt that you have your own personal versions but here are a few examples of those toxic thoughts. ‘I’m too shy to talk to her/him.’ (Delete as appropriate!!) ‘I wish I could be more assertive and not let people walk all over me.’ ‘I’m never going to get that job.’ ‘I’ll be happy when I’ve lost those six kilos.’

The problem with this kind of automatic thinking is that, for starters, they confirm that, if your life is not-too-bad, that’s OK. It’s not! The second problem is that these thoughts enable (and that’s clearly the wrong word) your subconscious mind to pay attention to all the misconceptions that it learned about you when you were young and impressionable. These are the things – and don’t forget that the mind prefers to focus on the negative – that you currently believe about yourself. They are the things that are standing in your way.

Now, don’t get me wrong. Your mind will never stop being bombarded by useless thoughts – as you now know, that’s how we’ve been hard-wired. But you can decide whether or not you will give these thoughts any attention. You must realize that you have a very real alternative to wasting your time, or your life on all that garbage – you could decide to pay attention to the wonderful reality of the present moment. And, if that reality includes enduring that boring meeting, you could discover that paying more attention to what’s going on might make you that bit more efficient, happier and more productive – the kind of things that most people search for from life.
