How to start a business internet online free!
There are 2 types of sites you can create to make money online.
1. The content of the site.
2. Minisite.
Some gurus will advise you to go through the route of a content site while others sing the praises of a microsite.
You need to realize that these gurus recommend that you create a mini site or a content site based on their experience with the system they chose to make money online.
You should test what works best for you and then make your decision about the system you want to go with the content site or route minisite.
Starting a free online internet is easy as pie Once you know how you move, create your own empire profitable.
If you are a newbie, let me give you some suggestions. Before this, let me tell you what is a content site and what is a minisite.
1. The content of the site – This is a site that is filled with great content that might go to hundreds and sometimes thousands of pages of a particular niche focused.
The main purpose for which those content sites are created is to generate traffic from search engines as they like sites with huge content concentrated in a particular niche.
Creator of these sites, mostly research hundreds of keywords and then they create an article (like this one) with the keyword in the section of the order 1% to 2% of the document.
The article is usually around 400 to 500 words. They continue to create sections of their sites by the hundreds to get attention and traffic free search engines.
2. Minisite – A five page site is known as a minisite is the only purpose is to is a sale and sell a product or to get the visitor to subscribe to their list.
A product sales pitch is known as a salesletter. A Web page that collect leads is known as a squeeze page.
At the center of a page are correct. Either he wants to sell a product or get the lead or any action that mini-site is created.
Do you know how to go about starting your online business free internet via a content site or mini site?
Now you're wondering how to get started. Here is my suggestion …
1. First will create a mini site that collects tracks.
Try it so that it converts at least 30% of your visitors into subscribers.
Create a killer tracking system that is selling products from your product or affiliate.
If you sell your own products to create minisites that are more purely salesletters selling your own product.
Test your product and conversion. How is it processing and Get it to at least 1% to 2% or better from people visit your site.
2. Now that you have powerful minisites processing and tracking system, it is time to get it cut without serious driving traffic from search engines through content sites.
Create a content site by searching huge pile of keywords and writing articles. Driving all the traffic that your sites content to receive your minisites.
This will ensure that your site content is excellent for attracting traffic and your minisites are powerful in converting that traffic into dollars.
If you follow the steps above you will find that starting an online business free internet is easy.

$9.98 The Internet has become a big part of our lives. If before it was just a part of business communication or an avenue for researching for school projects, now, it has become an integral part of our lives. Organizations likewise use the Internet to keep in touch with every member of the group. Even if members are scattered throughout the country or even throughout the world, it becomes easy to bring everyone together through e-mail or e-groups. Individuals use the Internet to connect with friends and family in far flung places. Through the Internet, they find people who share the same passion, and build relationships through it. The Internet has also become a very valuable source of information, be it for research or just to find the show times of the current movie releases. The question now is, what are our children doing when they go online? |

Cop's Kid: A Milwaukee Memoir
$3.14 P B-Day, as it came to be known, finally arrived. It was a Friday. A school day. I identified with Cinderella as I watched Dad get ready for work. Holster, check. Gun, check. Billy club, check. Handcuffs, check. . . . Saturday morning I got up early. Dad was already gone. Back to work. Ushering the Beatles out of town. On the table . . . there were two small bars of soap, slightly used, the words Coach House Inn still legible. One book of matches with four missing. And a note from Dad, From their room. . . . No one else’s dad comes home from work with something that might, just might, have been intimate with a Beatle.BR Growing up, Mel Miskimen thought that a gun and handcuffs on the kitchen table were as normal as a gallon of milk and a loaf of Mrs. Karl’s bread. Her father, a Milwaukee cop for almost forty years was part Super Hero (He simply held up his hand and three lanes of traffic came to a screeching halt) and part Supreme Being (He could be anywhere at anytime. I never knew when or where he would pop up.) Miskimen’s memoir, told in humorous vignettes, tells what it was like for a girl growing up with a dad who packed a lunch and packed heat./P ICop’s Kid/Iis an original and engaging look at the family life of a cop through the eyes of his daughter. It is also a cultural snapshot of people and events that shaped American life during the 1950s, ‘60s, and ‘70s.—Jonathan L. Overby, host and producer of Higher GroundMel Miskimen is a lifelong Milwaukee resident and an actor, writer, and humorist who regularly appears on theIHigher Ground/Iprogram on Wisconsin Public Radio. |

Milwaukee's Latino community began humbly as a Colonia Mexicana in the 1920s, when Mexicans were recruited to work in the city's tanneries. Subsequent waves of workers came from Texas to work in Wisconsin's agricultural fields. In the early 1950s, Puerto Ricans began arriving to the area, and the population doubled in the 1990s. |

Milwaukee's Bronzeville
$15.98 With the migration of African American sharecroppers to northern cities in the first half of the 20th century, the African American population of Milwaukee grew from fewer than 1,000 in 1900 to nearly 22,000 by 1950. Most settled around a 12-block area along Walnut Street that came to be known as Milwaukee?s Bronzeville, a thriving residential, business, and entertainment community. Barbershops, restaurants, drugstores, and funeral homes were started with a little money saved from overtime pay at factory jobs or extra domestic work taken on by the women. Exotic nightclubs, taverns, and restaurants attracted a racially mixed clientele, and daytime social clubs sponsored ?matinees? that were dress-up events featuring local bands catering to neighborhood residents. Bronzeville is remembered by African American elders as a good place to grow up?times were hard, but the community was tight. |

Home and Work
$30.98 Do you put family photos on your desk at work? Are your home and work keys on the same chain? Do you keep one all-purpose calendar for listing home and work events? Do you have separate telephone books for colleagues and friends? In Home and Work, Christena Nippert-Eng examines the intricacies and implications of how we draw the line between home and work.Arguing that relationships between the two realms range from those that are highly "integrating" to those that are highly "segmenting," Nippert-Eng examines the ways people sculpt the boundaries between home and work. With remarkable sensitivity to the symbolic value of objects and actions, Nippert-Eng explores the meaning of clothing, wallets, lunches and vacations, and the places and ways in which we engage our family, friends, and co-workers. Commuting habits are also revealing, showing how we make the transition between home and work selves though ritualized behavior like hellos and goodbyes, the consumption of food, the way we dress, our choices of routes to and from work, and our listening, working, and sleeping habits during these journeys. The ways each of us manages time, space, and people not only reflect but reinforce lives that are more "integrating" or "segmenting" at any given time. In clarifying what we take for granted, this book will leave you thinking in different ways about your life and work. |

Learn to Earn
$28.48 "Public companies are everywhere, and they surround you from morning to night. . . . Nearly everything you eat, wear, read, listen to, ride in, lie on, or gargle with is made by one. Perfume to penknives, hot tubs to hot dogs, nuts to nail polish are made by businesses that you can own." --from the Introduction. McDonald's, The Gap, Circuit City, Gillette, CBS, and thousands more . . . anybody can own part of big and small companies. As companies grow and prosper, you can too. Whenever burgers are eaten, sweaters are purchased, batteries are used, and faces are shaved, you've got a piece of the action. From Alexander Hamilton to Warren Buffett, people have been making big money by investing in the corporations and institutions around them. Mutual-fund superstar Peter Lynch and author John Rothchild explain what's not normally taught in high school --how the stock market helps you and how it helps the country. By understanding how and why the stock market works when you buy a share of a company or purchase a mutual fund, you can make informed --and profitable --decisions. Whether you're saving for college, a house, a trip, or retirement, there is no better method to secure a sound financial future than to invest. Young or old, there is no better time to start investing than now. "Investing is fun. It's interesting. It can put you on the road to prosperity for the rest of your life. . . ." Learn to Earn gives you the expert guidance you need to make the right start. Lynch and Rothchild cover the gamut on investment fundamentals and principles, from choosing stocks, to picking a broker, to reading an annual report. Learn to Earn reveals how to decipher the stock pages and how to evaluate the pros and cons of the five basic investment vehicles --savings accounts, collectibles, houses or apartments, stocks, and bonds. Yet, there is much more to investing than just the principles, and there is much more to Learn to Earn than just the fundamentals. Opportunity comes in many forms, from many sources, with many histories. Brimming with stories and parables, Lynch and Rothchild also explain: * Why the world as we know it would collapse without investors . . . * How capitalism, from the time of the American Revolution on, has shaped the past, and how that affects us today . . . * How Coke, Campbell's Soup, Ben & Jerry's, Microsoft, and other big companies got started, who gets rich from them, and how they got that way . . . * How to know the real story behind the price of a stock |

Earn More (Sleep Better)
$3.48 You can make more money than most fund managers, and with more peace of mind, according to Richard E. Evans and Burton G. Malkiel. Just follow the "Five Giant Steps to Wealth" in this book for the most reliable way to invest for college, retirement, and other goals.Index funds make investing easy because they save you from having to guess which stocks or conventional mutual funds will go up next year. You just buy one fund and you own all the stocks (or bonds) in that group of securities. When you invest this way, you will come out ahead of the majority of fund managers in that group, and you'll always do as well as the market average (minus very low expenses). You will earn more and sleep better. If you don't invest on your own, you may not think of yourself as an investor. But if you have a 401(k) or similar plan at work, you could have a lot of money invested in mutual funds. This book explains in plain language why index mutual funds are a better way to invest tax-deferred or taxable money -- better than individual stocks and bonds, better than conventional mutual funds. If you're saving for college or for the purchase of a house, Earn More (Sleep Better) will tell you exactly what to do: how to set a goal, how much to put aside to reach that goal, and how to choose a combination of index funds for dependable, long-term returns. If you think of yourself as an active investor, you know a lot about stocks and bonds. You may even own an index fund. But there are some things you might not know: for example, wily index funds are likely to continue to outperform the average mutual fund, in both bull and bear markets; how to combine different kinds of index funds (there are many more than just the familiar S&P 500 index funds) to build a powerful portfolio; and the single decision that may determine up to 92 percent of your investment results. This book explains it all. |

Savings Bond Advisor
$21.93 Savings Bond Advisor will introduce you to the Cinderella of investments, the U.S. Savings Bond. Financial pundits have neglected the Savings Bond for a generation. Meanwhile, millions of Americans have invested significant portions of their money in Savings Bonds. Savings Bonds have been dressing for the ball since the U.S. Treasury introduced the inflation-protected Series I Bond and online accounts at Treasury Direct. After a weekend reading Savings Bond Advisor, you'll understand how Savings Bonds work, how to open an account at Treasury Direct, the history of inflation, and why the Series I Savings Bond - which protects you from the risk of default, the risk of inflation, the risk of capital loss, and comes with tax advantages - should be the foundation of your savings and investment holdings. Everyone should have a part of their investment portfolio in readily-available emergency funds. I bonds are an easy choice for this low-risk portion of your investment portfolio. If you already have an investment in Savings Bonds, you'll learn investment strategies that will increase the value of your holdings, estate planning strategies that will save your family money, and tax strategies that will help you avoid the Stinker Bond Penalty, the Double-Taxation Trap, the Deferred-Tax Time Bomb, and hidden interest-rate penalties. You'll also find out that some older Savings Bonds are a bad choice for almost every investor and what to do if you own one. The book includes access to a web site, www.savings-bond-advisor.com, that has the latest information about Savings Bond interest rates and program changes, as well as links to the forms you need to settle estates, replace lost bonds, update bondregistrations, and receive the Savings Bond college education tax-deduction. Tom Adams, the author of Savings Bond Advisor, also answers questions from the book's readers on the web site. |

The Basics of Voice over Internet Protocol (Basics Books series)
$458.48 Voice over Internet protocol (VoIP), the transmission of person-to-person voice conversations over IP?based networks, is a topic of great interest within the telecommunications industry. With VoIP service, customers see an opportunity to significantly reduce their local and long-distance calling expenses, while long-distance carriers have seen an opportunity to possibly avoid sharing a large portion of their revenues with the local telephone companies for use of their access links to originate long-distance calls. Moreover, service providers and customers see an increasing appeal in the rich array of services that VoIP enables. Among these are a range of Web-like phone displays, information services, and data exchange. The Basics of Voice over Internet Protocol examines the fundamentals of delivering VoIP service while exploring its potential in the communications market. VoIP is now becoming a mainstream service offered by RBOCs, CLECs, long-distance carriers, international carriers, and virtually any entrant to the transport business. Yet despite this, multiple standards for VoIP still exist, making the interworking of vendor products and the myriad alternative protocols?H.323, SIP, MGCP, etc.?a continuing issue. Further, the quality of VoIP telephone conversations is still under question, and the seeming significant initial costs of setup, including the change-out of phones and PBXs, as well as the addition of gateway and gatekeeper devices, may undermine the benefits to be had from implementing VoIP. As the industry moves forward, the direction of the complete national network is toward an IP?based architecture, and voice traffic seems to be moving in this common direction. There are many challenges still to be addressed, but the benefits of VoIP continue to draw mounting levels interest, pushing this technology ever further into the mainstream of communications. The Basics of Voice over Internet Protocol analyzes this trend in depth while bringing readers up to date on the evolution of VoIP service. |

Elite MBA Programs at Public Universities
$48.48 Business education programs should practice what they preach: applying the principles of strategic analysis to play to their strengths and develop distinctive offerings that attract the most profitable "customers"--in this case, students, faculty, local communities, and the institutions that support them financially. With the costs of private MBA programs skyrocketing, public universities, which generally operate out of the spotlight of the Harvards and Whartons, have a tremendous opportunity to distinguish themselves as centers of innovative, high-quality education. Mimi Wolverton and Larry Penley conducted extensive research to identify the qualities of those public institutions across the country--from the University of Washington to Georgia Tech--that have successfully established competitive advantages, generally through a combination of cost leadership, differentiation, and focus. Elite MBA Programs at Public Universities features 12 in-depth case studies by senior representatives of the respective institutions, detailing the process by which they developed and launched programs to raise their profiles and ultimately compete aggressively for talent and support. From developing strategic alliances with local businesses and complementary academic departments to establishing online and overseas courses to investing in state-of-the-art facilities, these schools are setting new standards for business education--and measuring the positive results, for example, in terms of increased funding, higher faculty research productivity, higher rankings, and greater student diversity. Wolverton and Penley frame the case studies by applying the concepts of strategy theory, drawing lessons that can be applied in other educational institutions, as well as for students of strategy and general readers interested in emerging trends in business education. The result is a fascinating peek behind the scenes at the most innovative MBA programs, as well as a rich canvas for observing the principles of strategic management in action. |

Why people are against the stay at-home dads?
My sister and her husband have a daughter of 16 babies per month. They are married for 4 years, together for 10. My sister has an excellent working and paying my brother was a 1st grade teacher before he leaves. They live in San Francisco, and the cost of living is very high. My brother decided to leave his job for him to deal their daughter. He did a great job and the house is always clean. However, people always seem to be against fathers stay at home and I think they are all lazy. Why is this?
It's just because of tradition. Traditionally, it was the man that does the job in part because women simply were not allowed to do so. People are comfortable with the traditional and they tend to forget why this was the case. I think it will just take time for people to rethink the stay at home Dad. As it does the job, thats fine.

Devotions for Dads
$6.89 Devotions for Dads was developed over several years as a tool for personal reflection and family devotion by Rick Wertz with the Faithful Fathering Initiative in Texas as part of FFIT's ongoing work with dads. The original inspiration for the book was research published by the Center for Alcohol and Substance Abuse showing that eating dinner together as a family is the single most effective way to keep kids off drugs. FFIT asked: How much more could a weekly 30-minute family discussion impact the kids, especially one referencing the word of God and its practical application today? As he began to formulate the Devotions, Rick introduced their use into FFIT's workshops, studies and retreats, and the reception from the dads was very strong. He routinely gets calls and emails from men sharing how they use the Devotions beyond the original goal to enhance their: -Personal devotion time; -Devotion and discussion time with their wives; and -Men's small group meetings and studies. Our prayer is that the Lord will encourage you through the weekly devotions that make up Devotions for Dads and equip you well through the resultant discussions to grow as a faithful father, a dad that prioritizes physical presence, is engaged emotionally and leads spiritually by example. |

Each WonderDads Do-it-Yourself Class features four lessons and a variety of creative activities for Dads to do with their child, in a book format. The four lessons included in this book are: Class 1 - Where & Why I Go to Work Each Day Class 2 - The Types of People I Work With Class 3 - Going to Court Class 4 - The Verdict - Winning & Losing Each lesson is only a couple of pages and explains in detail how to cover the topic with your child, complete with activities and word recognition. Queen Bee Moms & Kingpin Dads
$3.48 What happens to Queen Bees and Wannabes when they grow up?Even the most well-adjusted moms and dads can experience peer pressure and conflicts with other adults that make them act like they’re back in seventh grade. In Queen Bee Moms & Kingpin Dads, Rosalind Wiseman gives us the tools to handle difficult situations involving teachers and other parents with grace. Reassuring, funny, and unfailingly honest, Wiseman reveals:• Why PTA meetings and Back-to-School nights tap into parents’ deepest insecurities• How to recognize the archetypal moms and dads—from Caveman Dad to Hovercraft Mom• How and when to step in and step out of your child’s conflicts with other children, parents, teachers, or coaches • How to interpret the code phrases other parents use to avoid (or provoke) confrontation• Why too many well-meaning dads sit on the sidelines, and how vital it is that they step up to the plate• What to do and say when the playing field becomes an arena for people to bully and dominate other kids and adults• How to have respectful yet honest conversations with other parents about sex and drugs when your values are in conflict• How the way you handle parties, risky behavior, and academic performance affects your child• How unspoken assumptions about race, religion, and other hot-button subjects sabotage parents’ ability to work togetherQueen Bee Moms & Kingpin Dads is filled with the kind of true stories that made Wiseman’s New York Times bestselling book Queen Bees & Wannabes impossible to put down. There are tales of hardworking parents with whom any of us can identify, along with tales of outrageously bad parents—the kind we all have to reckon with. For instance, what do you do when parents donate a large sum of money to a school and their child is promptly transferred into the honors program–while your son with better grades doesn’t make the cut? What about the mother who helps her daughter compose poison-pen e-mails to yours? And what do you say to the parent-coach who screams at your child when the team is losing? Wiseman offers practical advice on avoiding the most common parenting “land mines” and useful scripts to help you navigate difficult but necessary conversations.Queen Bee Moms & Kingpin Dads is essential reading for parents today. It offers us the tools to become wiser, more relaxed parents–and the inspiration to speak out, act according to our values, show humility, and set the kind of example that will make a real difference in our children’s lives. Also available as a Random House AudioBook and as an eBook |

Dads and Daughters
$4.48 Every father can make a huge difference in his daughter’s life.As the primary male role model in a girl’s life, fathers influence their daughters in profound ways, from how they see themselves to what they come to expect from men and the world at large. But men often don’t realize the importance of their interactions or may shy away from too close involvement because of their inexperience, or conditioning. Especially as girls move into adolescence, fathers may find themselves feeling distant from their daughters or awkward with the changing dynamic. Communication becomes difficult and parenting issues more complicated. But this is also the time when daughters most need their fathers to be an even greater presence in their lives. Dads and Daughters is a tool to bridge that gap and build a rewarding and joyful father-daughter relationship. From father to father and with insights from many other dads, Joe Kelly shows men how they can strengthen their relationships with their daughters and explores the tremendous rewards this relationship can bring. Starting with a self-assessment quiz titled “How Am I Doing as My Daughter’s Father?” dads can immediately see what kind of role they play in their daughter’s life. To educate fathers and offer solutions when problems arise, Dads and Daughters then offers thoughtful coverage of the most pivotal issues today’s girls face, such as sex and dating, body image, alcohol and drugs, media culture and violence, money and responsibility, and the future. In doing so he both illuminates the culture our daughters live in and shows fathers how to guide their daughters toward rewarding, healthy lives. |

Drawing
$22.48 Drawing is a language, a necessary skill for anyone who wants to express ideas or feelings in written images. Like all languages, it can be mastered with practice and instruction. Author Keith Micklewright distills a lifetime of hard thinking about drawing, presenting techniques-along with exercises-that help us become fluent at visual communication. The advantage of his approach is that drawing is seen as a flexible form of expression rather than a set of mechanical skills. There is no right way to draw creatively, anymore than there is one style of writing creatively. To drive this point home, Micklewright illustrates the book with marvelous drawings by great artists, from Old Masters to the present, that range from precise portraiture to ecstatic nature studies. There is no other book on the subject that combines such a deep, lucid text with such a generous collection of inspirational art. |

Work in an American Nursing Home
$6.7 A corollary of increasing life expectancy among Americans is an increasing reliance on nursing home care. Who are the people who will care for us or for our relatives? Drawing on intensive field research and on theories of work and bureaucracy, Nancy Foner provides a major study of institutional care that focuses on nursing aides, the backbone of American nursing homes.I know of no other book which gives such a richly contextualized picture of women workers in a nursing home setting. . . . A first-rate ethnography.--Louise Lamphere, University of New MexicoAn important contribution to our understanding of the world of . . . nursing aides.--Contemporary GerontologyAlong with increasing life expectancy comes the knowledge that many Americans will one day enter nursing homes. Who are the people who will care for us or for our relatives? Nancy Foner provides a major study of institutional care that focuses on nursing aides, who are the backbone of American nursing homes. She examines the strains and paradoxes facing nursing aides--asked, on the one hand, to provide compassionate care and, on the other, to cope with the pressures of the workplace and the institution.brAides are expected to look after patients, who are predominantly older women, with kindness and consideration, but nursing home regulations and bureaucratic forces often hinder even the best efforts to offer consistently supportive care. Positioned at the bottom of the nursing hierarchy, aides must cope with the needs of frail, dependent residents, pressures from patients' relatives and from their own families, and demands of supervisors and coworkers.brFoner's detailed description and analysis of caregiving dilemmas, based on intensive field research in a New York facility, brings the perspective of the nursing aides to the fore. This is a timely contribution to the study of work, bureaucracy, and the future of an aging American population. |

Drawing from Life
$29.95 Along with working from the model the figure-drawing student needs instruction in anatomy, history, and conceptual approaches -- instruction often missing from life drawing classes due to time constraints. This text offers these, along with a visual reminder of studio practice. The chapters follow the natural development of a student's growth, from gesture drawing to personal exploration. An entire chapter on drawing the figure in perspective offers information unavailable in comparable texts. Asking the student to begin with quick sketches and gesture drawings establishes their significance in professional work, while giving students a non-threatening introduction on a level they can understand and master. Cohesive presentation of anatomy, including a chapter on the human head, helps students understand underlying structure of bones, muscle, and body fat. Larger images throughout promote clearer understanding of concepts. A completely new section on color media provides up-to-date valuable information. Anatomy of the limbs has been reorganized for clarity. |

Drawing Distinctions
$25.48 "If our procedure is to work steadily in the direction of drawing as fine art, rather than (as we so often find) beginning from examples of such art, where shall we begin? One attractive possibility is to begin at the beginning—not the beginning in prehistory, which is already wonderful art, but with our personal beginnings as children. From there it will be the ambitious project of this book to investigate `the course of drawing,' from the first marks children make to the greatest graphic arts of different cultures."—from the Introduction Patrick Maynard surveys the rich and varied practices of drawing, from the earliest markings on cave walls to the complex technical schematics that make the modern world possible, from cartoons and the first efforts of preschoolers to the works of skilled draftspeople and the greatest artists, East and West. Despite, or perhaps because of, its ubiquity, drawing as such has provoked remarkably little philosophical reflection. Nonphilosophical writing on the topic tends to be divided between specialties such as art history and mechanics. In this engagingly written and well-illustrated book, Maynard reveals the interconnections and developments that unite this fundamental, autonomous, human activity in all its diversity. Informed by close discussion of work in art history, art criticism, cognitive and developmental psychology, and aesthetics, Drawing Distinctions presents a theoretically sophisticated yet approachable argument that will improve comprehension and appreciation of drawing in its many forms, uses, and meanings. |

Drawing -- The Purpose

Attitudes in Drawing
$35 The End of the Line: Attitudes to Drawing features 11 internationally acclaimed artists, including Jan Albers, Michael Borremans, Marc Brandenburg, Fernando Bryce, Kate Davis, Monika Grzymala, David Haines, Kim Hiorth0y, Sandra Vasquez de la Horra, Garrett Phelan and Naoyuki Tsuji. As a group, their work represents a vast range of possible interpretations of drawing, from meticulously rendered quotidian scenes to three-dimensional drawings that merge with and respond to architectural space. Though drawing foundered in art schools during the 1970s, tainted by academicism, recently it has undergone a resurgence of popularity, partly because of its accessibility as a tool for communicating personal visions and ideas. Each of these artists treats drawing as a primary means of expression and a practice in its own right. Writer and Cabinet magazine editor Brian Dillon explores these ideas and the context of drawing within contemporary art. |

Drawing
$28.98 "Drawing relies on a clear vision. It also requires thought which, in, turn, builds understanding. Drawing cannot be detached from seeing and thinking about the fundamental nature of the subject matter being represented. The knowledge and understanding gained through drawing from life directly enhances our ability to draw from the imagination. Just as thought can be put into words, ideas can be made visible in a drawing to promote visual thinking and further stimulate the imagination. Once what is seen or imagined is made visible in a drawing, the image takes on a life of its own and communicates graphically. However eloquently or crudely, all drawings, speak to the eye." From the Preface . Francis D.K. Ching |

At Home And At Work: The Family's Allocation Of Labor (new Perspective
$26.24 It offers a very new perspective indeed. Drawing on economic theory, the authors postulate that a family allocates work -- any work, be it housework, doing the shopping, or earning money outside the home -- on the basis of maximum utility to the family unit. The family's ideas on utility are derived from such factors as its income, education and ideology. A carefully crafted research study confirms these speculations on work and housework allocation, and examines its impact on family relationships. The authors also provide a history of theories of the family. Functionalist they may be, but Geerken and Gove are attempting to strip away some of functionalism's serious shortcomings in order to explain the work patterns of married women, the sharing of tasks between spouses, and finally, selected aspects of marital quality. |

Drawing From The Modern
$31.98 Many of the key achievements in art of the last 125 years have been worked out on paper. From pictorial investigations that expanded the possibilities of vision to the invention of entirely new kinds of media, drawing has been the perfect laboratory for avant-garde experimentation. Drawing from the Modern traces such groundbreaking innovation through the unparalleled holdings of the drawings collection of The Museum of Modern Art. Drawing has historically been understood as a mark or line on paper--the record of a bodily gesture, an inscription of the action of the hand, an expression of the mind. Since the 1880s, however, artists have sought to interrupt these seemingly unbreakable links between mark, hand, and imagination. Defying long-held definitions of drawing and rejecting traditional materials, modern artists invented a host of practices, altering not only the field of drawing but artmaking in general. Examining masterworks from the Museum's collection of nearly 7,000 works on paper in three chronological volumes beginning in the 1880s and continuing through today, Drawing from the Modern reconsider artists' repudiation of traditional drafting methods, assault on the use of the single sheet of paper, and introduction of new materials. Going to the heart of avant-garde innovation, all three volumes showcase new formal strategies, including collage, abstraction, chance, and the integration of text and image, as well as new subject matter, including the urban experience, the body, and identity. Volume I, presented here, spans the period from 1880 to 1940, and includes work by such artists as Jean Arp, Hans Bellmer, Paul Cazanne, Arshile Gorky, Georgia O'Keeffe, Odilon Redon, and Kurt Schwitters. Volume II, available in Spring 2005, will cover 1940 to 1975, and Volume III, available in Fall 2005, will bring us from 1975 to the present day. |

Drawing from the Modern: 1945-1975
$29.07 Visual art in the period following World War II witnessed landmark transformations. Today, drawing provides a powerful and vigorous device for reexamining the art of that period, and for renewing appreciation of the extraordinary achievements of well-known artists--and for discovering others. Even though the art of these years saw radical departures and shifts, drawing, which is among the most traditional of media, played a crucial and consistent role in the work of a great majority of the most significant artists. Drawing from the Modern, 1945-1975, surveys the drawing of the period through the unparalleled holdings of the drawings collection of The Museum of Modern Art. The postwar period saw the development of Abstract Expressionism in New York, followed by Pop art, Minimal art, and Conceptual art, and the Museum's collection has exceptional strength in these areas. Abstract drawings by Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning and Barnett Newman open this volume, followed by works by such key figures as Jasper Johns, Ellsworth Kelly and Cy Twombly. Next, drawings by Roy Lichtenstein, Claes Oldenburg and Andy Warhol signal the arrival of a new figurative art at the forefront of creativity. But reductive and abstract art kept pace, and the Museum's collection offers a breathtaking array of drawings by Carl Andre, Dan Flavin, Eva Hesse, Sol LeWitt, Brice Marden, Agnes Martin, Richard Serra and numerous others. What constitutes progress in art is questioned today, and it is no longer possible to see the development of art as a straight line, with synchronicity among places and geographies. But drawing, by its very nature, encourages established understandings to be examined and accepted values to be reappraised. Many of the artists represented here defy easy categorization, including Lee Bontecou, Louise Bourgeois, Vija Celmins, Bruce Conner, Ray Johnson, Jim Nutt and Myron Stout. The resurgence of European art is represented by drawings by Georg Baselitz, Joseph Beuys@=ë…¸Rÿ¾Úx |

online business ideas 2009
Posted by: | Comments
Viewed When referring to a single company on the Internet should never lose that business long term really means. In no case explanation The following is the exact meaning of the term business but generally the term means buying and selling things. When it comes to setting up an Internet project of the person must decide what motive or purpose has started this business, eg Is it simply a way to convey an idea or is the real object to create a significant undertaking for example.
For the latter, starting an online business, an aspect that must be considered as starting anything from scratch and, possibly, having no knowledge on the subject will always need a little work and in particular the need educate yourself. A couple of points worth considering when starting an online business is research on the type business, in other words what you buy or sell, what products are available in this line, how do you market these products and perhaps one important aspect that gets easily overlooked is perhaps comment on some or other business model.
A business model or system should not be a prerequisite for starting an online business but sometimes it helps develop a person in the right direction. The age old adage of learning from others is may be true in this environment as well. Who knows, while following any system a person could fall on a unique way of doing business that you can call your own that could itself become a product or system that can potentially be copied or sold for this question.
As with any form of enterprise, and there will be a lot of trial and error and many ups and downs but if the will to succeed is it then maybe someone should take action. Especially in the Internet sector because of because it changes rapidly and continuously a person may sometimes feel that you can not look forward. That's perhaps why it is not the type of business that can be left alone to run without some form of intervention or simply put your finger on the pulse, even if it is now and then. In any way that a person must sit before a computer screen eight hours a day, but to establish a system once and forget is not the answer.
With the foregoing in mind to take a campaign example. Establishment a campaign is large and when the statistics start to roll in an ad and showcases some cases it is, but in a very short period of this listing could not be more due to a higher bid on particular words or a listing of best example. When a person can sit back and think a system is functioning do not be surprised when you wake up and find your system is one way or strategy offline.
When you start an online business can be for a second think like a business (which does not take much persuade to do so) and therefore some business principles must be respected or perhaps not as serious as it is in the order of be?

You'll learn how to develop a mission statement and business plan, set business policies, create strategic and creative marketing plans, establish prices for services, hire and train staff members, and much more. This section also explains a personal trainer's legal and professional responsibilities, such as giving clients a health screening, obtaining informed consent, and inspecting facilities and equipment. Part III offers techniques for becoming an effective personal trainer. Since there's more to helping your clients achieve their fitness goals than simply prescribing a program, Part III discusses how to maintain a professional relationship with clients, the psychology of personal training, teaching techniques and tips for improving client-trainer communication, how to motivate clients and help them set goals, and how to design appropriate, individualized exercise programs. Nineteen sample forms in Parts II and III make it easy for you to put the ideas presented into practice. Learn from veteran personal trainer |
